UX Designer + Content Creator
A lifelong storyteller, I exited university with a visual communications degree and quickly began looking for creators that could further my knowledge. I found them in droves. Beginning my journey in advertising I found talented visual creators and writers who showed me new ways to think and write. Moving to marketing+pr, I learned how to meld the stakeholders wants with the needs of the user. My journey continued as I began art directing magazines and working with digital/tech startups while getting introduced to user-centered design.
Now I sit squarely in the worlds of UX Design and content creation (filmmaking, VR/AR experiences, animation). Regardless of the challenge, my process is:

CONNECT+LEARN
Meet, talk and empathize with someone who is about to go on a creative journey with me. Then, look, listen, and learn everything I can about the subject, goal, and user.

IDEATE+BUILD
Based on the research, come up with viable creative solutions and curate them to a choice few. Then follow that up with sketches in various fidelities to move the project forward and learn

TEST+IMPLEMENT
Usability tests by both users and stakeholder(s) and then take the desired solution to development OR circle back to and try again.
